We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Manager for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity at our Hammond Park centre. This 114-place service has fantastic modern facilities offering state-of-the-art infrastructure to support our educators and children.
About the Positions:
As the Centre Manager, you will manage and support an established team of educators and build strong positive relationships with families. You will genuinely love children and enjoy the opportunity to model best practices to educators in the centre.
As a Centre Manager, your core responsibilities will include the following:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre
Lead, motivate and support the team
Maintain a high-quality and performing centre
A continuous increase in occupancy and maintaining a strong reputation across the community
Ensure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.
What we are looking for:
A completed Diploma (minimum requirement) or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
Excellent understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the National Quality Standards, knowledge of CCS (Child Care Subsidy) and CCMS (Child Care Management System) administration and the national assessment and rating system
At least 2 years experience as a Centre Manager
Minimum of 5 years total experience in the early childhood sector
Knowledge of relevant legislative documents, applicable to the sector
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with practical skills in conflict resolution and implementing performance review processes
Demonstrated ability to establish a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement among educators and staff
Possess a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid/CPR including Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
Completed Child Safety and Child Protection trainings
Willing to apply for a National Police Check
