Essential Criteria:

• Able to work well within a dynamic team environment and take an active role in developing resources within the department.

• Flexible with new ideas and directions in an everchanging educational environment.

• Flexible proactive approach with strong organisational skills.

• Provide advice on suitable demonstrations to support teaching and curriculum outcomes for Home Economic classes.

• Possess good problem-solving skills and be able to support staff as well as have the persistence to see their completion.

• Excellent communication skills, including confidence with ICT.

• Solid knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene and safety standards.

• A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to contribute positively to the College community.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintaining a Hygienic Environment

• Ordering, Stock Control and Shopping

• Preparing items for Classes

• Assisting Teachers in the Classroom, when deemed necessary

• Maintenance of Small Equipment

• Other duties as directed by the Principal
