Position: Room Leader (Responsible Person) 
Status: Full-time, permanent (38 hours per week)
Salary range: $89,552.32 - $92,061.84 per annum (Inclusive of Worker Retention Payment - WRP and $3.55 per hour regional allowance) + additional allowances and superannuation

As a Room Leader with One Tree Kalkarindji Children’s Service, you will help lead the team to ensure the service is providing high-quality early childhood education in a remote Aboriginal community. Selection criteria:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the Early Childhood sector
• Experience working within a remote community
• Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team
• Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
• Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
• Ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children

Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Kalkarindji, NT
• Hold a valid and current Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Hold a valid NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check)
• Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
