Deaf Connect is excited to recruit a newly established Manager – Program Operations position as part of our evolving Education team structure.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to influence how our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) operates, strengthen compliance and quality systems, and help shape the future of education and training services across Deaf Connect.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, RTO, you'll lead key operational functions across Deaf Connect's education and training services, including program administration, compliance, quality and program design.

As part of a new leadership structure, this newly created role will help strengthen operational performance, student outcomes and compliance across the RTO. Working closely with Education leaders, you'll drive continuous improvement, optimise systems and processes, and support the delivery of high-quality, student-centred learning experience, while ensuring efficient and compliant funding management.

In this role, you will:

• Lead teams across program administration, compliance, quality and program design.
• Oversee the student journey from enrolment through to completion and reporting.
• Drive operational performance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with ASQA Standards and funding requirements.
• Optimise systems, processes and reporting to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Build workforce capability and foster a high-performing team culture.

About you:

You're a strategic and solutions-focused leader who enjoys improving systems, developing teams and delivering high-quality outcomes in complex environments.

You bring strong operational expertise across multiple functions, a commitment to compliance and quality, and a passion for creating positive experiences for students and stakeholders.

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven leadership experience within the VET sector and/or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs, NVR Act and state-based funding requirements.
• Experience leading operational functions and multidisciplinary teams within a regulated education or training environment.
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvement, systems optimisation and workforce capability development.
• Experience managing compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems and Student Management Systems (preferably Moodle and aXcelerate).

It would be great if you also bring:

• Qualifications in Training and Assessment.
• Auslan skills and/or an understanding of Deaf culture, language and community.
• Experience working across multiple funding streams and jurisdictions.
