We are seeking passionate and dedicated Health & Physical Education Teachers to join leading secondary schools across Melbourne's northern and western suburbs. These full-time, permanent opportunities are ideal for educators who are committed to fostering student wellbeing, promoting active lifestyles, and delivering engaging learning experiences for students in Years 7–12.
As a Health & Physical Education Teacher, you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic, physical, social, and emotional development. Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams, you will contribute to curriculum planning, student wellbeing initiatives, and the broader school community.
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Health & Physical Education programs for students in Years 7–12.
Foster a safe, supportive, and well-managed classroom and learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support learning outcomes.
Contribute to student wellbeing programs and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and curriculum delivery.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
Specialisation in Health and Physical Education is required.
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Valid Australian working rights.
Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate secondary students.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to supporting student wellbeing and achieving positive educational outcomes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Minimum 1-2 years of secondary teaching experience required.
