About You

As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St Aloysius College Cronulla's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community. You must be able to demonstrate:

  • strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required
  • excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment (supporting members of the Leadership team), prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • coordinate and manage major school events, including planning, scheduling, logistics, communication, and documentation
  • experience working in administration including maintaining accurate and confidential records relating to student awards and recipient data.
  • facilitate examination processes, including preparation, coordination, scheduling, and compliance requirements
  • experience with Compass (desirable) or the ability to learn new systems
  • ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)
  • accuracy and attention to detail
  • proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required
  • a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • a willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager, including covering Student Services and front office reception as required
  • a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent (desirable).
