Position: Certificate lll/Diploma Educator 
Status: Part-time (Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Based on Level of qualification and experience ($33.44 - $37.64 Inclusive of the Worker Retention payment)

One Tree Defence Unit Little Geckos, Tindal NT
Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherine and caters to Defence personnel and their families. Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where "The outback meets the tropics". Situated on the Katherine River 320km southwest of Darwin.

The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  On the weekends the adventure and experiences of the surrounding region will have you longing for the great outdoors. The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and committed Certificate lll or Diploma-qualified Educator who possesses a collaborative mindset, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to become part of our dynamic team. In this position, you will be instrumental in nurturing and inspiring both children and your colleagues. Our close relationship with Australian Defence families allows us to make a meaningful impact on children's lives every day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality education and care to children
• Develop and implement engaging learning activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Collaborate with the Defence community to enhance support

Qualifications:

• Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Certificate lll, Diploma, bachelor's or Graduate Diploma)
• Experience working with children in a similar setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build connections with Defence families and the local community
