About the role

Are you passionate about early childhood education and care? Chapter 1 Early Learning is seeking experienced and dedicated Child Care Educators to join our expanding team in Miranda, NSW. As a Child Care Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support children's learning and development

• Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive

• Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor activities and support individual needs

• Building strong relationships with children and their families, and communicating regularly about their child's development

• Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

• Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services)

• We welcome candidates at any qualification level and provide opportunities for career development

• Additionally we have positions for candidates looking to complete a certificate III traineeship with Chapter 1.

• Extensive experience working as a Child Care Educator in a long day care or preschool setting

• Candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for children

• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications are preferred but we offer flexibility for the right candidate
