The Position
The Careers Counsellor plays an important role providing an informative insight into potential career opportunities to students at Wenona. You will promote careers education, as students navigate and develop their post school plans. The Careers Counsellor will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including Director of Student Opportunity and Careers Education, senior teaching Staff, students, families and industry to provide appropriate support.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience in careers counselling and supporting students in making well-informed career decisions regarding their post school plans, pathways, and opportunities beyond Year 12. You will ensure that all Wenona students have opportunities to develop their passions and pursue a future that is tailored to their interests and talents. You will have strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to promote and deliver careers advice to all Students. You must also have an extensive knowledge of Careers Education within a school context, including the HSC Curriculum, ATAR, UAC and domestic application processes.
