The QUT Annual Scholarship Round is open—with scholarships available across a diverse range of disciplines and topics to support your research journey with funding commencing in 2027.

QUT research degrees provide the opportunity to pursue your research interests, contribute to new discoveries, and enhance your career prospects.

Scholarships are available to help support your living expenses while undertaking a QUT research degree. Submit your scholarship application as part of your research degree application and apply early to maximise your opportunity for consideration.

Applications close on 31 July for international applicants and 31 August for domestic applicants.

ELIGIBILITY

You need to meet the entry requirements for a QUT research degree, including any English language requirements at time of application.

Enrol as a full-time, internal student (unless approval for part-time and/or external study is obtained).

You must commence your studies no later than 31 July 2027.

International applications: 31 July 2026 at 11.59pm
Domestic applications: 31 August 2026 at 11.59pm
