About the Opportunity:

Early Childhood Education and Care Development Coach
Sunshine Coast based | Part-time (3 days per week)

The role of a Development Coach is to work with our Early Childhood Education and Care employer partners. Not only will you be part of our fabulous Industry Graduates team, but you will also form part of the employer's internal learning academy, working to achieve the career professional development goals of educators and the employer. This means you will immerse yourself in the culture of the organisation, become part of the team and see first-hand the benefit your role modelling, coaching and development is contributing to the service.

As a Development Coach, you'll support students through their learning journeys, helping them achieve their qualifications and build successful careers. With support, mentoring and clear development pathways, this is your chance to launch a meaningful and rewarding career in education and training.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into the world of training and assessment and inspire the next generation of early childhood educators. The role is ideal for someone who:

  1. is ready to apply their practical knowledge in a training capacity.

  2. holds the Diploma of Early Childhood Education.

  3. holds the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Qualification.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring best practice operational policy and procedural services are always implemented and assessed against the national quality framework.

  • Delivering a comprehensive L&D program for all Early Childhood Service employees that is consistent with their career pathway.

  • Management of trainee educator experience and development.

  • Provide on the job mentoring during client workplace visits.

  • Work alongside leaders to ensure all educators achieve development goals.

  • Communicate and develop cooperative relationships with all leaders.


About You:

  • Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

  • Have recent or current industry experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a passion for mentoring others.

  • Organised, proactive and confident using digital tools to support learner engagement.

  • Full Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.
