We have Diploma Educator opportunities across multiple sessional kindergartens in Darebin and Banyule City Council! These break-cover roles are ideal for those seeking work-life balance and offer a fantastic opportunity to build experience in a sessional kindergarten environment.

If you're an enthusiastic educator looking to dip your toe into a new and exciting world, these roles are for you. All positions are ongoing and begin in 2026.

Which role interests you the most?

• St Helena Preschool: 6 hours per week on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00pm - 2:00pm
• Yarra Valley Preschool: 4 hours per week on a Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00pm - 2:00pm
• Greenhills Preschool: 10 hours per week from Monday to Friday 12:00pm -2:00pm

About you

• You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
• You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
• You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
• You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
• You value kindness and respect.
• You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
• You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent/studying, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.

• You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.
• You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
• You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
