Working as the Co-Ordinator of Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) you will be providing high-quality service consistent with all aspects of the National Quality Framework and working with children aged from 5-12 years.
Key tasks include:
- Co-ordinating of after school/vacation care during both school term and non-term time
- Supporting the development of current & future programs which may include a before school offering
- Acting as the Nominated Supervisor/responsible person with the support of the Assistant Co-Ordinator and service staff
- Taking an active role in staff meetings to discuss the needs of families & students
- Leading the planning of students' learning and relevant records/documentation
- Having a thorough knowledge of relevant WHS information
You will have:
- An appropriate qualification - Diploma in Children's Services OR Certificate III/IV in School Age Education and Care or equivalent
- Solid "hands on" experience in the OSHC sector with the capacity to act as the Responsible Person/Nominated Supervisor in Charge of the service
- Current certificates for First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management
- Excellent written/verbal communication and solid IT skills
