About You

We are seeking a committed and experienced full-time, temporary Diverse Learning Teacher with expertise in HSIE to join our College. In addition to teaching, this role carries the significant responsibility of Instructional Coach, working within a dynamic team led by the Leader of Learning and Innovation. You will:

  • support and commit to the mission, values, and ethos of Catholic Education, contributing positively to the academic and pastoral life of the College
  • champion inclusive education across the College by applying expert knowledge of diverse learning frameworks, implementing adjustments, and utilising positive behavior management to support students with varied learning profiles
  • demonstrate exemplary, highly differentiated classroom practice in HSIE, integrating ICT and universal design to ensure the curriculum is engaging and accessible for all diverse learners
  • partner with teachers and middle leaders to model high-impact, evidence-based pedagogies, providing classroom coaching and feedback to strengthen instructional consistency and differentiation capabilities
  • collaborate on curriculum planning, assessment, and NESA syllabus requirements, driving inclusive practices and innovation aligned with College priorities
  • use student data, learning walks, and reflective practice to monitor diverse learner progress, evaluate teaching impact, and contribute to targeted professional learning
  • bring strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative, trusting relationships across faculties, maintaining a commitment to continuous professional growth
  • demonstrate a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
