At Catholic Early Learning & Care, we are dedicated to supporting the early years of a child’s learning journey in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. Our passionate educators create play-based learning opportunities that inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental growth.
We are committed to building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, creating a community where every child feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to thrive. We are now seeking enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join our Kindy teams across our centres in the north, central, and south side of Cairns.
Why choose Catholic Early Learning & Care
As part of our commitment to attracting and retaining quality educators, eligible CELC employees currently receive the Workforce Retention Payment while Government funding continues.
If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children during their vital early years, we would love to hear from you.
Catholic Early Learning & Care (CELC) is seeking a passionate, warm and child-focused Educator who shares our vision for high-quality early learning environments that celebrate diversity, belonging and the uniqueness of every child.
This position will work collaboratively with other Educators to create inclusive learning environments where all children can participate meaningfully, thrive, and experience success. You will support children and assist in implementing adjustments and strategies that promote access, and contribute to practices that uphold equity and a strong sense of identity for every child.
We are looking for someone who is creative, reflective, and confident working across varying age groups and service environments. Someone who thinks innovatively, values individuality, and brings a genuine passion for building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
You will demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional learning, reflective practice and continuous improvement. A clear understanding of child-safe practices is essential, with a commitment to embedding the 10 Queensland Child Safe Standards in everyday environments, interactions and decision-making.
If you want to be part of a supportive, collaborative and enthusiastic team that shares knowledge and works together to provide the highest standard of care — we would love to hear from you.
