Our Centres
We aim to offer an inspiring and stimulating early learning environment for children aged six weeks to school age all year round. As we strive to provide the highest quality care, our centres upgrade facilities on a regular basis. Including nature play development in 2020 to include recycled timber custom cubby houses and natural outdoor learning environments.
The Opportunity
Working closely with your Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice
Documenting children’s learning and development
Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
To be considered, you will have:
Skills and experience -
Valid Early Childhood Teaching qualification, Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Accredited Anaphylaxis Certificate
Mandatory National Child Safety Training
Current Working With Children Check and child protection training
Have a good understanding of the National Quality Framework and Standards and be able to implement in practice and documentation.
Have a sound working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and Australian Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities -
Ability to work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children, collaborating as a team.
Develop open communication channels with the children and families.
Adhering to the policies and procedures and following the Centres visions and philosophy.
The applicant must display a passion for children’s learning and development in a long day care setting and contribute to the professional working environment by developing, planning and implementing a quality program. They must possess a strong work ethic, demonstrating leadership ability, flexibility in their working hours being punctual and reliable and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
