About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Rise Early Learning Birtinya as the Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in our Pre-Kindy space. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our other resident ECT while delivering high-quality education, supporting meaningful learning outcomes, and fostering an environment that benefits both children and your team. • Motivated to build respectful and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community while maintaining professional boundaries
• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
• Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Blue Card*
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
• Available for full-time or part-time work across service operational days and hours (Mon-Fri, 6AM - 6PM), with flexibility as required
• Solid recent experience as an Early Childhood Teacher (preferred) or in a leadership role with a similar age group and the ability to mentor and guide the team
• Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
• Current Food Handler Basics training, with a certificate to be provided*
• Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk'*
• Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates are required to fulfil Responsible Person role (at own cost).*

* To be completed prior to your first working shift.
