Welcome to Little Stars Music. For over 20 years, we've been bringing high-quality, engaging music education into families and now to early learning centres across the Mornington Peninsula. We don't just do sing-alongs; we take children aged 0–5 on a magical, multi-sensory musical journey that builds their confidence, sparks their development, and nurtures a lifelong love of music.

We are growing and looking for enthusiastic, warm, and musical souls to join our close-knit teaching team.

About the Role

This is a casual position perfect for singers, performers, instrumental teachers, or passionate early childhood educators looking for rewarding, school-hours work.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-6 months early childhood teaching experience.

You'll travel to our partner childcare centres across the Peninsula and surrounds, bringing our beautifully designed curriculum to life using vibrant percussion, glockenspiels, colourful scarves, puppets, and storybooks.

• The Hours: Daytime, weekday hours during school terms. No late nights, no weekends!

• The Support: No prior experience? No dramas. We provide full, paid in-house training and ongoing upskilling sessions to ensure you feel confident and inspired from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading Joyful Sessions: Guiding groups of little ones through active, energetic music-making, movement, and musical play.

• Creating Magic: Cultivating a warm, nurturing space where every single child feels safe to express themselves and shine.

• Building Connections: Being the proud face of Little Stars, building warm relationships with centre educators and families.

Who We Are Looking For

You don't need a formal music degree (though we love them!), but you do need a performer's heart, a confident voice, and a teacher's warmth.

Must-Haves:

• A beautiful, confident singing voice and the ability to pitch and sing unaccompanied.

• An infectious, high-energy personality: you're not afraid to be playful, silly, and fully engaged with toddlers and babies.

• Absolute reliability, professionalism, and great communication skills.

• Your own reliable transport/car to travel between Peninsula locations.

• A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to get one).

• Australian citizenship is required for this position.
