About the role

We are looking for a reliable and confident tutor to lead small group tutoring sessions for primary and middle school students (Years 3–10) in Maths, English, Science, and Writing.

This is a structured role based in Pallara, focused on supporting students in a consistent learning environment after school.

The role is ideal for recent Year 12 graduates or university students seeking stable weekly work with fixed hours that fit around study schedules.

Key details

• In-person group tutoring (Pallara, QLD)

• Weekday afternoons (5:00pm – 7:00pm) in-person availability

• Minimum weekly commitment: 5 hrs/week

• Consistent weekly schedule (same days/times each week)

Key responsibilities

• Lead small group tutoring sessions (Years 3–10)

• Teach and reinforce Maths, English, Science, and Writing

• Manage group behaviour and maintain focus in a classroom-style setting

• Support students with homework and structured learning tasks

• Adapt explanations for different ability levels within a group

• Follow provided session structure and learning materials

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• A recent Year 12 graduate or currently a university student

• Available on a weekly basis, with consistency

• Confident speaking and leading a group of students

• Calm and effective in leading groups

• Strong in English, Writing, Maths and/or Science

• Punctual and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility

• Comfortable working in a structured environment

• Has, or is willing to obtain, a Blue Card
