At the Y, we’re seeking an enthusiastic OSHC Assistant Educator who is committed to enriching children’s lives through learning, play, and positive experiences.
About the Role
We’re currently recruiting a Part-Time OSHC Assistant Educator for our Taylor Primary School OSHC who thrives in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
Create engaging, play-based learning experiences for primary school-aged children
Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
Support children’s development through meaningful interactions and activities
Work as part of a supportive and passionate team
What You’ll Bring
A genuine passion for working with children and families
Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, team-focused attitude
Creativity and initiative in planning inclusive activities
A willingness to learn and apply key frameworks, including:
National Education and Care Law
National Quality Framework (NQF)
My Time, Our Place Framework
A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
Availability across the week of:
7:00am – 9:00am
2:30pm – 6:00pm
Experience working or volunteering with children
Valid driver’s licence
Foundations of Child Safety Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People card (WWVP)
Knowledge of educational frameworks (desirable but not essential)
