Lead Educator / Room Leader | Cheltenham

anzuk Education is proud to be partnering with a family-owned early learning service in Cheltenham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator / Room Leader.

This boutique centre offers a warm, community-focused environment where children, families, and educators are genuinely valued. As a smaller service, the team works closely together, creating a supportive culture where everyone contributes and has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

The Role Working with children aged 12 months to 3 years, you will be responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences, supporting children's development, and contributing to a positive and nurturing environment.

This role would suit an experienced Lead Educator or Room Leader, or a strong Educator ready to take the next step into leadership. Flexibility is important, as educators work collaboratively across two rooms to support the needs of the children and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and implementing engaging educational programs
  • Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Mentoring and supporting fellow educators
  • Contributing to a positive team culture
  • Working collaboratively across rooms when required
  • Maintaining high standards of care, education, and documentation
About You
  • Hold a relevant Early Childhood qualification
  • Have experience as a Lead Educator / Room Leader, or be ready to step into a leadership role
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
  • Be confident with programming, planning, and documentation
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and willing to support wherever needed
