Position: Early Childhood Teacher 
Location: Eastside Little Learners, Bundaberg East
Hours: 38hrs per week - Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As part of our team, you will work alongside fellow educators to deliver a planned, play-based learning program that nurtures children’s curiosity and fosters their development. We are looking for someone who values children's needs, respects their learning environment, and brings fresh, engaging ideas to enhance our programs. You will be encouraged to contribute creatively and work collaboratively with families and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

·       Bachelor of Teaching (fully qualified or working towards- must be studying currently)

·       Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

·       Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)

·       Passionate about embedding inclusive practise within the room.

·       Ability to build strong partnerships with families

·       High-level written and verbal communication skills

·       Understanding of child protection legislation and its implications in childcare

·       Highly desirable: First Aid and CPR certification

Completed: Gecko (Australian Governments online Early childhood compliance knowledge platform) or be prepared to complete before commencing

Your Role Will Involve:

Leading the Kindergarten room 

Supporting children in developing their own working theories through intentional teaching, spontaneous opportunities, and play-based learning

Creating an engaging and creative environment that encourages children to investigate, explore, and extend their skills

Implementing and contributing innovative ideas to our learning programs
