About the Role

As the Year 4 Classroom Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class of approximately 21 students and provide consistent, high-quality teaching across all curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will inherit a cohort requiring strong instructional leadership and a focus on academic growth. The school is seeking a teacher who can establish clear expectations, rebuild learning momentum and foster positive classroom habits.

This role would suit an experienced classroom teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning environments and supporting students to achieve meaningful academic progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress across key learning areas
• Establish positive classroom routines and high learning expectations
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Build productive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and Catholic ethos

You Will Have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Education
• Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
• Demonstrated primary classroom teaching experience
• Strong literacy and numeracy teaching capability
• Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Confidence planning, assessing and reporting on student learning
• The ability to quickly establish credibility and engagement within a classroom environment

Teachers with substantial CRT experience will also be considered, provided they can demonstrate strong classroom practice, planning capability and a clear understanding of the responsibilities associated with a full-time classroom teaching role.
