About The Role

As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead the nominated room, overseeing program delivery, team leadership, safety, and daily operations while delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences aligned with SDN values and philosophy to achieve positive outcomes for all children.

This will include:

• Lead the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
• Build strong partnerships with families and mentor educators to support best practice
• Create inclusive, safe and nurturing environments where every child feels supported and empowered to thrive
• Contribute to ongoing critical reflection, documentation and assessment to support continuous improvement and quality outcomes
• Ensure a safe and compliant environment by actively monitoring health, safety and risk management practices across the room

About You:

You will have experience and skills in the following:

• University qualifications in Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA
• Excellent understanding of current early childhood practice that is informed by the
• Early Years Learning Framework, and naturalistic, responsive early childhood intervention practices
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the implications for centres
• Working with Children Check (NSW) and Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Food Handler Certificate
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging early learning experiences
• Child protection training and commitment to child safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
