We are currently seeking educators who are warm, emotionally aware, and deeply responsive to children’s needs.

Room Leader (4 or 5 days)

Rate: Above award, based on experience and includes the Wage Retention Grant

We are seeking a confident, reflective, and emotionally attuned Room Leader who understands that leadership begins with relationships.

The right person will:

• Be deeply responsive to children’s emotional and developmental needs

• Create a calm, regulated, and secure learning environment

• Guide children through big emotions with empathy and confidence

• Lead a child-led, inquiry-based curriculum grounded in connection

• Mentor and support educators in relational and reflective practice

• Build strong, respectful partnerships with families

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (completed) or highly experienced Certificate 3

• Demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting

• Experience leading or co-leading a room

• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework

• Commitment to reflective practice and team collaboration

• A warm, professional, and grounded presence
