Director of Service, OSHC Leadership Opportunity | Up to $120K + Flexibility
Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can truly shape a service, lead a team, and enjoy genuine flexibility in how you work?

This is a rare opportunity to lead a well-established OSHC service within a welcoming public school community within the Shire of NSW. With a strong team already in place and additional admin support provided, this role is designed to allow you to focus on leadership, quality, and team development, not being tied to the floor.

If you are currently a Coordinator, 2IC, Director, or an experienced Early Childhood leader looking to transition into OSHC, this could be the perfect next step.

About the role
  • Lead a large, established OSHC service catering for approx. 70 to 110 children across Before and After School Care
  • Oversee and support a team of around 20 educators
  • Operate within a supportive school community with fantastic families and engaged children
  • Drive quality practice, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Act as Nominated Supervisor, ensuring regulatory requirements are consistently met
This service does not operate during school holidays, however full-time hours are maintained through planning, team development, reflections, training, and service improvement work.

You may be:
  • An OSHC Coordinator, Director or 2IC ready to step up
  • An experienced Early Childhood Room Leader or Director/Centre Manager looking to transition into OSHC
  • A confident leader who thrives in busy, large-service environments
You will bring:
  • Strong people leadership and team management skills
  • Sound knowledge of compliance and Child Safe practices
  • Ability to manage operations, programming, and quality standards
  • A collaborative and proactive leadership style
Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Children’s Services, OSHC, or equivalent
  • Open to highly experienced Certificate III candidates with strong leadership background
  • Relevant compliance including WWCC, First Aid, CPR, and Police Check and current child safety requirements.

We are a child safe organisation. Employment is subject to a valid WWCC and reference checks, consistent with QLD requirements for child related work.
