Lead Educator

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Educator to join our dedicated team at Noosa Outlook Early Learning.

As a Lead Educator, you will play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive. You will lead by example, support fellow educators, and contribute to the planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs that inspire children's learning and development.

This role is ideal for a passionate early childhood professional who is committed to providing exceptional education and care and is looking to further develop their leadership skills within a supportive environment.

Important Requirements

• Diploma qualified (ACECQA approved) or actively studying and nearing completion.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm.

• Flexibility to work opening and closing shifts as required.

• Our Centre promotes fair rostering practices, with opening and closing shifts shared across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for children.

• Build positive and genuine relationships with children, families, and team members.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate meaningful learning experiences in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

• Document children's learning and development and contribute to assessment and planning cycles.

• Lead and support educational experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths, and individual needs.

• Critically reflect on practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with educators to maintain high standards of education and care.

• Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and Centre policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a Lead Educator role.

• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standard (NQS).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.

• Ability to bring enthusiasm, professionalism, flexibility, and reliability to the role.

Essential Requirements

• ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification or actively studying towards a Diploma and nearing completion.

• Minimum 12 months' experience working within an early childhood education and care setting.

• Current Blue Card.

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

• Current Child Protection Training.

• Availability to work flexible shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm.
