Surry Hills Montessori Group is expanding, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our teams at Wentworthville Childcare & Preschool and our brand-new Lidcombe Montessori Childcare & Preschool.

• Certificate III Educators

Our new Lidcombe centre offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a founding team and help shape a positive culture from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities

• Build warm, responsive relationships with children and families.

• Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

• Observe and document children's learning and development.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high-quality practices.

• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), EYLF, and centre policies.

• Contribute positively to the centre team and culture.

What We're Looking For

Trainee Educators

• Genuine passion for working with children.

• Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Certificate III Educators

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).

• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.

• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Diploma Educators

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

• Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Experience in programming, observations, and mentoring team members is highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

• Current Working With Children Check (NSW).

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain).

• Current Child Protection qualification.
