We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team in our head office based in Brisbane.
About the role:
The Quality and Compliance Officer at the REIQ will sit within our Training Team, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance across all RTO operations in line with the Standards for RTOs and the VET Quality Framework. The role encompasses compliance oversight, auditing, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and the review of training and assessment resources.
Your day may include:
Overseeing RTO compliance with the Standards for RTOs, VET Quality Framework, ASQA requirements, and funding contracts
Developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, registers and QA processes
Coordinating audits, validations, moderation activities, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement
Monitoring changes to VET legislation and implementing updates across the RTO as required
Preparing compliance reporting and documentation for ASQA and internal reviews
Reviewing training and assessment resources and maintaining Trainer and Assessor compliance documentation
Coordinating the development and continuous improvement of training and assessment resources in consultation with SMEs
Coordinating the implementation and maintenance of training content within the LMS
Developing and supporting professional development initiatives for trainers and staff
Analysing industry and training needs to inform program improvements and resource development
Our ideal new addition will have:
TAE40116 or equivalent (or willingness to complete) is highly desirable
2+ years' experience in a compliance role in an RTO
Experience in writing /developing training resources (desirable)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Experience in using learning management systems (aXcelerate knowledge desirable)
High level of attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent computer skills with an advanced level proficiency in creating documents and spreadsheets and a working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft 365 & Office packages
Highly developed written and oral communication skills
