The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead and support the Bandara team in the delivery of quality early childhood programs that enrich the lives of children and families, ensuring that the services meet all statutory regulations, standards and approved curriculum. Uphold the Paramountcy Principle ensuring that the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of the child comes first, above all other considerations.

As a Nominated Supervisor at Bandara Children Services, you will undertake overall responsibility for the day to day management of the staff and programs as well as act as a role model and mentor to Educators in understanding and complying with Regulations, the Law and the National Quality Framework. You will prepare rosters and organise replacement staff to ensure compliance with Regulations within budget allocations.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Teaching degree recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and has a minimum 12 months’ experience as a Nominated Supervisor of an early childhood service.

You will have the following skills and experience;

• Advanced knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Law and Regulations
• Strong skills in all aspects of human resource management, including directing and supporting teams to comply with Regulations
• Excellent ability to build respectful relationships with children, families and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in managing, reporting and resolving complex child protection situations

Benefits

This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $99,776.77 gross per annum, comprising of:

• $1,713.20 per week base salary
• $205.58 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
