Villanova College is seeking a classroom teacher to join our Middle School Team on a fixed-term basis, commencing Term 3, 2026 teaching Maths/Science.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher, or one returning to the classroom, to work in a well-resourced and genuinely supportive environment during a significant semester in the lives of our Middle School students.
The Role
Working within our Middle School teaching team, the successful candidate will:
Deliver high-quality classroom teaching across the Middle School in Maths/Science areas
Build positive, supportive relationships with students
Collaborate with the Middle School pastoral and academic team to monitor student wellbeing and progress
Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment aligned to ACARA requirements
Participate in co-curricular and community life of the College
Support the Catholic and Augustinian mission of the College in daily professional practice
About You
The successful applicant will:
Hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification
Hold current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
Demonstrate experience or genuine enthusiasm for teaching in the early secondary years
Show a strong commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development
Work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to faculty and College culture
