Calling all spectacular Certificate III, Diploma and Trainee Educators!

We’re the children at ARKIE Early Education Wahroonga, and we’ve been wishing on clouds and sunshine beams for some more wonderful educators to come and join our big, happy early learning centre.

We get to play in a brand new, purpose-built early learning centre with beautiful, light-filled indoor spaces designed just for us, so we can play, learn, explore and grow every single day.

Outside, it’s even more exciting. We zoom around on bikes, dig deep in the sandpits, climb high on our equipment and enjoy lots of shady spaces for indoor and outdoor adventures. There is always something new to discover.

Our days are full of giggles, tiny footsteps, big ideas and creative mess. We build castles, paint masterpieces, make friends and learn about the world together. We already have some truly wonderful educators who care for us, guide us and help us feel safe, seen and supported.

But as more new friends join us each week, we would love to invite more spectacular educators to come and grow with us.

You must like to play games, guide our learning, tell stories, support our routines and help us grow into the next generation of change-makers.

About the role

ARKIE Early Education Wahroonga is seeking full time early childhood educators to join our growing team.
We are accepting applications from:
Certificate III qualified educators
Diploma qualified educators
Trainee educators who are passionate about starting or continuing their early childhood career

Please note, this position is not suited to Early Childhood Teachers, Graduate Diploma qualified applicants or applicants Working Towards ECT qualification.

What we need from you

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a genuine interest in completing a traineeship
A current Working with Children Check
A warm, caring and professional approach
An understanding of the importance of child safety, supervision and consistency
The ability to work full time between our opening hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
A willingness to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
A commitment to building respectful relationships with children, families and other educators
An understanding of the National Quality Framework, or a willingness to learn and grow within it

Experience

We would love to hear from educators with at least 2 years’ experience caring for and guiding children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

We are also open to the right trainee applicant who shows a genuine passion for early childhood education, reliability, warmth and a strong commitment to learning.

As part of our recruitment process, applicants may be required to complete child safety screening, referee checks, Working with Children Check verification and induction requirements before commencing employment.
