About the Role

Lady Gowrie Qld are seeking talented and motivated Community Engagement Officer to join our Blackall Early Years Service on a part time basis. The role is Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week with am immediate start. Part of the role will be facilitating Playgroups across our Blackall, Tambo and Barcaldine services, with a car being provided for travel between services during work time.

About You

• Hold or be actively working towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Human Services in Child and Families Studies or similar (diploma qualified will be considered).

• Have a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard, or a willingness to learn.

• Hold a current Paid Blue Card and First Aid/CPR certifications, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
