The successful applicant will primarily teach Mathematics and Science to students in Years 9 and 10 within a highly supportive, relationship-focused educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning, delivering and assessing Mathematics and Science programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and relevant QCAA requirements
• Differentiating curriculum, instruction and assessment to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Implementing reasonable adjustments and personalised supports to ensure students can access and engage with the curriculum
• Building positive, respectful and restorative relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback and reporting
• Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues to achieve positive academic, wellbeing and engagement outcomes for students
• Contributing positively to the school's values-based culture and commitment to student wellbeing
