Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator – Nursery Room Leader
Choyces is a Child and Youth Community Services organisation which supports children and youth throughout various parts of their lives. We work with children as young as six weeks old, all the way through to early twenties. We provide multiple different programs which you can read about on our website, but this role will be to work primarily in our Early Learning space alongside our awesome team. We are located on 7 acres in Greenfields with a beautiful nature play area, horses over the fence and an abundance of trees. We are looking for someone who is experienced, self-motivated and committed who will be responsible for the care and education of our children in this space, working in conjunction with our team and Educational Leader.

We pride ourselves on our small room numbers, so you're not overwhelmed with paperwork or huge numbers of children each day. Our service maximum capacity is currently 22 children a day. Our operating hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm.

What you'll bring:
Diploma in Early childhood
A valid working with children card
National Police Clearance
First Aid and CPR Qualification
Experience working with children with diverse needs
Understand Childsafe Principles
Strong Pedagogical practice shaped by advocacy for children
A bright personality and good energy
A passion for working in Early Childhood
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
Available to work Monday-Friday between 7:30-4:00pm

Assist in our Nursery Room alongside the room leader and assistant educator
You will be able to recognise and develop the strengths in children and your team
You will be able to build positive relationships with peers, families, and children
Sound understanding of health and safety in the early years
You will have passion and enthusiasm and will want to have fun
