Talent Focus Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent primary school with multiple campuses across Melbourne's western and north-western suburbs.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to join a supportive and collaborative school community, with multiple full-time opportunities available. About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your students. Working within a collaborative teaching team, you will contribute to a positive school culture and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

  • Contribute to student wellbeing initiatives and the broader life of the school.

  • Participate in professional learning and collaborative planning.

  • Maintain accurate student records and comply with child safety and school policies.

About You

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.

  • Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and effective classroom practices.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a professional teaching team.

  • Experience working with diverse learners is highly regarded.

  • Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

  • Applicants must have full Australian working rights. New Zealand citizens are also encouraged to apply.
