Our Roxburgh Park campus is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to lead an engaging, play-based kindergarten program and support children to thrive as confident, curious learners.


About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will take ownership of your learning environment, leading the planning and delivery of educational programs while mentoring and supporting your team. You will work collaboratively with centre leadership to ensure high standards of care, education, and compliance are maintained, creating positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of your room and support a positive team culture.

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with approved learning frameworks.

  • Guide and mentor educators to deliver high-quality practices and experiences.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development.

  • Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and centre policies.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and centre goals.


About You

You are a confident and collaborative educator who enjoys leading others and creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

You'll bring:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.

  • Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior educator position.

  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.

  • Experience planning and implementing educational programs.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • A positive, proactive, and team-focused approach.

  • Current Working with Children Check.

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
