The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join a well-regarded Catholic school in Victoria.

Teaching Senior Mathematics and Junior Science, you will inspire students to achieve their academic potential while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Working within a collaborative teaching team, you will deliver high-quality curriculum programs and contribute to the broader educational mission of the school.

This is a full-time permanent position commencing in Term 3.

The successful candidate will be committed to student-centred learning, strong academic outcomes and supporting the holistic development of young people.

Duties

● Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Senior Mathematics and Junior Science
● Develop and implement effective teaching and learning programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements
● Foster positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
● Monitor, assess and report on student progress and achievement
● Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
● Contribute to curriculum planning and faculty initiatives
● Participate in the life of the school and support its Catholic ethos and values

Role Requirements

● Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (full or provisional)
● Secondary teaching qualification
● Ability to teach Senior Mathematics and Junior Science
● Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements
● Strong classroom management and communication skills
● Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
● Graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
