Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) – Full Time Position
Pegasus Early Education Thirlmere Centre is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and care. We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team.
About The Role:
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Pegasus Early Education Centre you will:
· Deliver high-quality early childhood education and care as a valued ECT
· Create safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments for children
· Plan, implement, and reflect on programs in line with the EYLF and NQS
· Support, mentor, and collaborate with educators in your room
· Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
· Embed intentional teaching and school readiness practices
· Maintain high-quality documentation and practice
About You:
· Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
· Confidence in supporting a team and contributing to a positive team culture
Strong communicator who builds trust and positive relationships with families and educators
Organised and reflective, always striving for high-quality outcomes
Inspiring and supportive team member who uplifts colleagues
Strong written, verbal and computer skills
Ability to balance structure, learning and play in a busy environment
A genuine passion for delivering a high-quality learning environment
About Your Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
· NESA Teacher Accreditation
· Knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices
· Current Working With Children Check
· First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training
· Child Protection Training
