Childcare Educators

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in care
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of children’s development

Childcare Room Leaders

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of an allocated room within the centre
• Mentor and guide educators to deliver quality educational programs
• Create and maintain an engaging, safe, and supportive learning environment
• Liaise with families to support children’s development and wellbeing

Early Childhood Teachers (ECT)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for preschool-aged children
• Assess and monitor children’s learning and development, providing feedback to families
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Act as an educational leader, supporting and mentoring fellow educators

Qualification & experience

Childcare Educators

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• Minimum 12 months work experience
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Childcare Room Leaders

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an early childhood setting
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Proven ability to lead a team and implement high-quality educational programs
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

Early Childhood Teachers (ECT)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent approved qualification)
• Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum 12 months of experience
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
• In-depth knowledge of child development, EYLF, and NQS
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
