QUALIFICATION: Must hold Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Graduate Diploma or higher qualification in relevant field including at least one (1) year of full-time work experience or equivalent as an ECT or in a similar role in a developed country.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum one (1) year of full-time work experience or equivalent as an ECT or in a similar role in a developed country.
• Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information to other staff, management, and owners.
• Ability to work and manage a team, also to work independently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  We are looking for an enthusiastic employee with the right skill set and experience to join our team.

• Planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials and equipment to facilitate child's development. 
• Providing leadership in the development, implementation, and review of educational programs in partnership with the Educators, Curriculum Leaders and Centre Manager.
• Providing variety of experiences and activities to develop motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding. 
• Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and informal discussions held individually and within groups of children. 
• Observing students to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbance, and other disabilities.
• Observing nutritional health, welfare and safety needs of students and identifying factors which may impede child's progress. 
• Discussing students' progress with parents. 
• Attending parent interviews, and staff and committee meetings. 
• Supervising student teachers on placement. 
• Acting in accordance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and company policies. 
• Continual reflection and evaluation of curriculum. 
• Reflecting and reviewing environments in relation to the NQS.
