At Little Bright Explorers, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our passionate early childhood education team in Como, WA 6152, as a Nursery Room Leader.

This full-time role will see you leading a team of educators in our Nursery room, providing exceptional care and learning experiences for our young explorers – with up to 12 babies per day.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and actively work within the room, supervising and supporting educators in daily operations
• Plan, implement and evaluate play-based educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
• Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and development
• Create and maintain a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Mentor and guide educators, fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture
• Build strong relationships with families to support children’s learning and development
• Observe and document children’s progress and learning outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Reggio-inspired practice

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
• Substantial experience as a Room Leader or Educator in a Nursery room setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the team
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's learning and development
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations
• Passionate about Reggio-inspired practice
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
