WRSC GROUP PTY. LTD. Trading as Oxford Early Learning Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate  Child Care Educator to joint to the team in Rooty Hill.

Job Summary

• To provide a quality early childhood program which meets the needs of the children attending Centre Based Childcare and in line with the requirements of the of the National Quality Standards, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012. 
• To work co-operatively with child care staff, families and allied professionals to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children attending the service. 
• To plan, implement and evaluate an educational program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age.

Responsabilities

• To work in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Law 2011 
•  Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Early Childhood Australia; 
•  Implementing the services’ philosophy in undertaking all other duties; 
•  Working in accordance with the policies and associated procedures of the organisation; and 
•  Provide ongoing support and assistance to other staff in all areas of service operation.

Main Purpose

• To support the aims, objectives and Philosophy of the service 
•  To provide an innovative and high quality Early Education and Care programs that reflects the children and families in the services. 
•  To ensure the service is committed to inclusive practices supporting families cultural, socio-economic and is responsive to individual situations. 
•  To understand and follow all legislative and regulatory requirements under the Education and Care are National Regulation and Law 2011 including; National quality Framework, Early Years learning Framework and Children’s Services Policies and Procedures. 
•  To establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff that are fair, professional, supportive and respectful.

•  Good public relations skills to maintain a strong customer focus and positive relationships between council and service-users. 
•  Able to work cooperatively as a team member in the centre and across council’s children services. 
•  Demonstrated ability to be innovative with in the programs. • Demonstrated ability to be enthusiastic and self-motivated. 
•  Ability to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, respect and innovation in all aspects of the position.
