Key Responsibilities:

· Educate and care for children according to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework.

· Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

· Maintain a professional and team-oriented attitude while meeting regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

· Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification or at least three years of relevant experience.

· Minimum 1 year of work experience working in an early childhood setting.

· Current Working with Children Check.

· Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.

· Developing strong relationships with children, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.

· Establishing and maintaining positive partnerships with families, providing regular updates and support to ensure a collaborative approach to the child’s development.

· Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development through play and exploration.

· Ensuring the active supervision of children at all times to maintain their safety and well-being.

· Observing and documenting children’s development, behavior, and learning progress to contribute to tailored educational planning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
