As a full-time Environmental Consultant in our business, you will be involved in the following activities which underpin and support the institutes efforts in several areas, including Quality Assurance, Indigenous partnerships and others:

• Establishing the required outcomes in terms of mitigation of environmental degradation, pollution, and threats to the natural environment in its interactions with community leaders
• Studying a given environment to establish possible environmental impacts of various specific education projects, businessactivities and developments
• Participate in development of environmental management strategies, policies and procedures from waste management to conservation and rehabilitation of environment and respect for communities that use that environment to preserve cultural andhistorical knowledge
• Participate in implementing conservation and pollution mitigation strategies
• Reporting of environmental regulatory compliance and conducting environmental audits of the business’ activities to ensure bestpractice

In order to be considered for this exciting role you will need a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher as well as minimum 3 years of relevant experience.                                                                                           

In addition, you must have the personality and communication skills to deal with a wide range of stakeholders from government, community and business people

. 

The role will be based at Miaimi , QLD but there will also be travel to various sites to conduct study and analysis of the environment.

Excellent salary, in the range $85,000 to $95,000 + superannuation per annum, and top conditions await the successful candidate
