Task & responsibilities

Lead and support the development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs and practices across services

• Provide mentoring, coaching and professional guidance to educators, teachers and service leaders

• Monitor curriculum delivery to ensure alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant legislative requirements

• Develop and implement strategies to improve educational outcomes and service quality

• Conduct observations, assessments and reviews of educational practices and learning environments

• Analyse performance data and quality indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

• Support professional development initiatives, workshops and training programs for educators

• Collaborate with management teams to develop policies, procedures and educational resources

• Assist services in preparing for assessment and rating processes and quality reviews

• Build positive relationships with families, community stakeholders and regulatory bodies

• Prepare reports, maintain records and contribute to organisational planning and strategic initiatives

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and organisational policies

Qualification & experience

Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education, Teaching or a closely related field

• Minimum 12 months of relevant full time experience in an educational leadership, curriculum leadership, educational management or similar role

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards

• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Current Working with Children Check and any other relevant clearances required by legislation
