We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Centre Director to join our ECEC Services Pty Ltd team in the overseeing of the daily operations of our facility alongside the Centre Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children in a safe and nurturing environment; and managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

The Assistant Centre Director will work collaboratively with educators to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program that meets the needs of each child.

Task & Responsibilities

Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program that meets the needs of each child; physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
Provide high-quality education and care to children in a safe and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively with other educators to ensure the smooth running of the service, ensuring the supervision is at the highest level of care
Provide a safe environment for all visitors, staff, children and families
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and policies
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Maintain accurate accounts for families care
Communicate effectively with families and other stakeholders
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Work alongside the Recruitment officer in the recruiting of staff members
Provide and guide professional developments trainings to staffing

Qualification & Experience

Qualifications:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
Current First Aid Certificate
Working with Children Check
Mandatory Report Training
Food Safety and Allergen Training

Requirements:

Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
