We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences for young children, both indoors and outdoors, while supporting their overall development, wellbeing and school readiness. You will work closely with families, educators and the wider team to provide high-quality early education in a safe and inclusive environment.

Task & responsibilities

Designing and delivering learning experiences across indoor and outdoor settings using a range of resources and equipment to support children's development 

Providing varied activities to build motor skills, social cooperation, confidence and understanding 

Encouraging language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes and group and individual discussions 

Monitoring children's progress and identifying early signs of health, emotional or developmental concerns 

Attending to children's nutritional, welfare and safety needs, and identifying factors that may affect their development 

Communicating with parents regarding their child's progress and development 

Participating in parent meetings, staff meetings and committee meetings 

Contributing to community and family support initiatives as required 

Mentoring and supervising student teachers on placement

Qualification & experience

A Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required for this role 

A minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in this role is required 

Strong communication, observation and organisational skills 

A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
