Position Overview: 

Oban College Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and motivated Vocational Education Teacher to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students in a supportive and industry-focused learning environment.. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and deliver engaging, competency-based training programs aligned with national standards. Identify diverse student learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. 
• Develop and review course materials, curriculum, and assessment tools. Facilitate classroom sessions, workshops, and practical training using appropriate teaching resources and technology. 
• Assess student performance, mark assignments, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes. 
• Provide academic guidance and support to students regarding course progression.
• Liaise with industry stakeholders and internal academic/support teams to ensure training relevance and compliance.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Education or Vocational Training  Demonstrated vocational industry experience in the relevant teaching area. 
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a teaching or training role. Strong knowledge of the Australian VET framework and compliance requirements. 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
