Task & responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
• Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Entertaining children by reading and playing games
• Supervising children in recreational activities
• Supervising the daily routine of children
• Supervising the hygiene of children
• Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
• Communicating effectively with children and parents
• Collaborating with team members to ensure the well-being of all children

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimum of 12 months full time (38 hours) work experience
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
