Brilliant Beginnings Childcare is a family owner Centre providing excellent care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
We are looking for an experienced Child Care Worker/Room Leader with a passion for children's development to join our team. You will instil a love of learning and guide our children on their path of exploration, investigation, and discovery. You will be a team player and understand that building successful relationships with peers, families and the wider community is key to a successful learning environment for our students.
We require a highly passionate and dedicated educator to be a part of our Kindy team. The successful candidate will be working within a highly experienced team and well supported to achieve excellence in your career.
Task & Responsibilities
- Participate in delivering an educational program that enhances each child’s learning and development
- Support and promote each child’s play, nutrition, health and physical activity
- Assist in preparing the facilities for the day’s activities to support exploration and play-based learning
- Form respectful and equitable relationships with each child and their families
- Collaborate with senior staff to enhance children’s inclusion, learning and wellbeing
To be successful for this role you require:
- A Qualification in Children’s Services
- Several years of Childcare experience.
- The ability to complete observations, set up the learning environment and adhere to policies and procedures.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Current First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
- Current Child Protection Training, including WWCC and Police Criminal Checks
- Passion and motivation to work in with children
- The ability to be a team player within the ELC as well as the wider community including interacting with other teachers and staff.
- Willingness to upskill yourself through Professional Development training throughout each year.
- Excellent digital and face to face communication skills including experience with online platforms.
On Offer:
Competitive salary, from $68,000 - $80,000 depending on years of experience
Staff discount on tuition fees after successful completion of probationary period
