About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader to join our professional team on a full-time basis.
Working closely with the Centre Director and educational team, you will guide and support educators in delivering high-quality educational programs that support children's learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
This is an excellent opportunity to work off the floor as well as alongside educators, supporting pedagogical practice and team development.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, and implement play-based educational programs that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and contemporary early childhood teaching practices.
• Observe, assess, and document children's learning, development, and behaviour to evaluate progress and inform curriculum planning, individual learning strategies, and continuous improvement of educational programs.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports children's wellbeing, independence, curiosity, and active participation in learning experiences.
• Build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with children, fostering a sense of belonging and supporting their individual needs in a calm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate manner.
• Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with families to support children's learning and development through effective communication, information sharing, and family engagement.
• Promote and uphold a strong child-safe culture by implementing child protection policies and maintaining safe supervision practices that ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children.
• Collaborate with colleagues and multidisciplinary professionals to support inclusive education practices and contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement processes to enhance the effectiveness of educational programs and service delivery.
• Lead and mentor educators in programming, documentation, and critical reflection, supporting professional practice, teamwork, and the implementation of high-quality early childhood education programs.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Relevant qualification and at least 1 – 2 years of full-time work experience.
· Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
· Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
· Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
· A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
· Previous experience working in a long day care or preschool setting will be highly regarded.
